Dear potential brothers of Delta Omicron:
My name is Michael Aleshin and I have the honor of serving as the President of the Delta Omicron Chapter for the Spring 2020 semester.
To those interested in joining our Brotherhood, let me be the first one to welcome and introduce to you what this chapter stands for. Founded in 1959, we are one of the oldest organizations on campus and have stood for individual professional development, the betterment of our community, and unconditional support for our members since our founding on this campus. If chosen to be a part of our Spring 2020 pledge class, a world of opportunities will become open to you in terms of building your presentation skills, fine-tuning your resume/LinkedIn, and introducing you to a network of alumni once initiated.
The Delta Omicron chapter has always believed that to succeed with our individual goals, we need support and uplift the community around us. That is why we have strived this semester to not only make San Francisco a better place for everyone with our philanthropic endeavours , but to make SF State students more competitive in the job market with our professional development events.
If chosen to be a part of the pledging process, you will be introduced to a dynamic, diverse group of people who will come to be some of the closest people in your life. Since being in the Chapter from my first semester of freshman year, I have found my family and a place where I feel free to be myself and where you can find yours. The hard and soft skills you learn will better prepare you for your professional career and will be invaluable to your future success, but on top of that, this Chapter offers you a lifelong brotherhood that you can’t get anywhere else.
